Lea Michele and boyfriend Matthew Paetz have reportedly called it quits.
News outlets reported the 29-year-old actress and her 30-year-old beau split after nearly two years of dating earlier this month. Sources told Us Weekly the breakup left Michele surprised and heartbroken.
"He had enough," an insider told the magazine. "[Lea] was completely crushed. He won't take her back. She was completely blindsided." The news comes just weeks after Michele told Fempire her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith, would "love" Paetz.
"She's doing well and is focusing on friends and work," a source told E! News. "This has been very sudden and hard, but if anyone can pick herself up it's Lea. She has a great network of friends."
Michele has yet to address the split, but shared photos with "Glee" co-star Becca Tobin and "Scream Queens" co-star Emma Roberts over the weekend. She and Tobin treated themselves to manicures Saturday and met with Roberts for dinner that evening.
"Lea is surrounded by her friends, who have rallied around her and support her," an insider told People. "She's doing fine, focusing on her work, her music and her album."
Michele and Paetz met on the set of the actress' "On My Way" music video in 2014, nine months after Monteith died at age 31. She and Monteith co-starred on "Glee" and were dating when the actor died of a drug overdose in 2013.
Michele is known for playing Rachel Berry on "Glee" and recently portrayed Hester Ulrich on "Scream Queens." The latter series was renewed for a second season on Fox in January, but it is unknown if Michele and her co-stars will return.
