After repeatedly teasing about it before, Lauren Conrad is apparently getting more serious about leaving The Hills.

Conrad said during a Tuesday appearance on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show that The Hills upcoming fourth season will most likely be her swan song.

"Do you think this would be the last season of The Hills?" asked Seacrest.

"I think so, yeah," answered Conrad.  "I would love to kind of finish out this show and I would love to just continue doing fashion and move onto something new, try something new and exciting."

Conrad began filming Laguna Beach when she was 17-years-old, and the MTV reality series documented her senior year of high school before she subsequently went on to star on The Hills.

This wouldn't be the first time Conrad has considered quitting the show, as she previously stated she was "dangerously close" to not filming its third season because of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's involvement.

Conrad had also teased about her potential departure in a July interview with Entertainment Weekly.  "Every season, I think it's the last," she told EW.  "Right now, I think this is the last season."

If The Hills were to come to an end, Conrad said don't expect to see her acting anytime soon -- even though she has a cameo in an upcoming episode of ABC Family's Greek.

"When they asked me to do it, I said, 'I can't act.  I can probably play myself,'" said Conrad, who will play herself in the Greek cameo.  "I'm not good at acting.  I don't really want to pretend to be."

In addition to her fledging career as a designer, Conrad added she wouldn't be opposed to stepping behind the camera.

"I would love to get involved with production.  It's so interesting to me," she told Seacrest.  "I've kind of been in front of the camera for so long and I've slowly tried to become more involved -- asking questions and seeing how they produce the show.  It's really interesting to me, so I would love to be on the other side and experience that."

The Hills fourth season will premiere Monday, August 18 at 10PM ET/PT on MTV.
