A South Carolina grand jury indicted Florida rapper Kodak Black on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct stemming from an incident after a concert there last year.

Black, whose legal name is Dieuson Octave, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in his hotel room at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Florence County, S.C., WDPE-TV in Myrtle Beach, S.C., reported.

The 20-year-old rapper, whose latest album, Project Baby Two, hit the top spot on the Billboard hip hop albums chart in August, faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.

Ed Clements, the 12th Circuit Solicitor in Florence County, told the Sun Sentinel that prosecutors plan to go to trial, but a date has not yet been set.

According to an arrest report, the woman and a friend were invited to Black's hotel room after a concert in February 2016.

The woman told police that Black brought her into a separate room and became "physically aggressive" with her as he allegedly carried out the sexual assault while she said "no" several times.

Black was arrested in May 2016 and and released on bail in December.
