Kim Kardashian's marriage settlement is going to take far, far longer than her marriage actually lasted.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star -- who is still in the process of divorcing Kris Humphries, whom she split from in October after only being married to him for 72 days -- and Humphries are involved in some legal bickering which will most likely delay their divorce, or annulment if Humphries gets his way, until next year, The Associated Press reported Wednesday.

Humphries' attorney Marshall Waller reportedly attempted to gather detailed records about Kardashian's reality shows and testimonies about her relationship with new boyfriend Kanye West in court on Wednesday as evidence to prove his marriage was a fraud.

According to The AP, Waller believes West's attorneys are failing to cooperate since it's taking time to receive the necessary depositions from Kardashian's reality show to move forward with Humphries' attempt to push for a fraud-based annulment.

Waller reportedly insisted at the hearing that he sought to prove Kardashian had "no intention of proceeding with this marriage. That it was basically a contrivance for the benefit of her show and to make money."

Kardashian's attorney on the other hand, Laura Wasser, allegedly claimed Humphries' legal team is overreaching and has cost her client an unjustified $250,000 in legal fees already, The AP reported.

"To say that I'm frustrated would be an understatement," Wasser reportedly said at the hearing. "I am at a loss to figure out what the holdup is... It's dragging on, it's clogging resources."

The growing animosity between parties has also reached the point where Humphries' attorney recently attempted to serve West with a deposition subpoena disguised in a Nordstrom's department store box, according to The AP.
