Aviron Pictures said Monday it will distribute the romantic comedy "Destination Wedding" in North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Written and directed by Victor Levin, the film reunites Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder, who previously worked together in "A Scanner Darkly" and "Bram Stoker's Dracula."

A press release said their latest collaboration "tells the story of two miserable and unpleasant wedding guests, Frank and Lindsay, who develop a mutual affection despite themselves."

"'Destination Wedding' is a sharp and clever rom-com that brings together two beloved stars in a way we've never seen them before," Aviron Pictures' David Dinerstein said in a statement.

"We are thrilled to once again partner with The Fyzz Facility on this uniquely hilarious comedy and look forward to working with Victor Levin, Gail Lyon, Elizabeth Dell, Jean Wyman and Cassian Elwes."

"We're very pleased to be working with the Aviron team and appreciate their level of enthusiasm and commitment. We are very excited by their plans for the film," added Levin.

The company did not say when the movie would be released.
