Jordan Kimball was head over heels in love with Jenna Cooper and absolutely crushed by their breakup after Bachelor in Paradise, according to the male model's close friend, Chris Randone.

During an interview with Extra, Chris sat down with his fiancee Krystal Nielson and discussed the scandal in which Jenna allegedly cheated on Jordan and planned to use their relationship for money, fame and to get ahead in her career.

When asked how Jordan is doing after calling off his engagement to Jenna, Chris replied, "He's hurt, definitely. I think it's something where it's still fresh, probably something where he's trying to process it all."

"Jordan is a family man. He has a great mom and dad. He would not get on one knee for no reason. He strongly believes in getting down on one knee once and getting married one time. So his decision was him believing in what they had and him seeing longevity in that relationship."

Jenna and Jordan got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise's September 12 finale, but Jordan broke up with his fiancee just one day later due to a series of leaked text messages appearing to show Jenna was romantically involved with another man all summer long and had insincere intentions with Jordan.

"Jordan has already finally made an announcement saying that he's done with the situation for now, but I think if the validity of it changes to where maybe these aren't true -- as far as the allegations -- and they can figure it out, no matter what, we're supportive," Chris told Extra.

"Jordan is a really close friend of mine, and at the end of the day, I just want him to be happy with whatever decision that he makes. But if they do part ways, I think it's something where we wish them the best of luck."

Not only did the woman appearing to be Jenna bash Jordan in the messages obtained by Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone by saying she's better than him and doesn't even like him, but she also wrote some graphic sexual things to this unidentified man.

Jenna allegedly wrote: "I know you're upset about this week's episodes but... this is all for my business. You know how much I need the money. Me and Jordan aren't together for real. I don't even like him let alone love him."

Jenna allegedly added, "I'm better than him and once I'm able to, I'll break it off for good and make up some story to make him look bad if it'll make you feel better. He means nothing to me and never has... All for work and networking. You're the only one I need in my life. The only guy who interests me."

Chris explained in his interview, "We just hope that no matter what, they can leave this journey with something positive. Because they did bring out great sides in one another. They did show a nice love story. He was madly in love with her and he was really infatuated with the thought of her before she even arrived and knew of her."

"So it's something where he really gravitated to her when she came and it brought out a different side of him," Chris continued. "So I would say, no matter what, at the end of the day, if they can at least take something positive from this journey, that's all that matters. We wish them the best of luck."

Jenna has insisted the so-called leaked text messages were "fake" and "completely fabricated." She claims she never cheated on Jordan and is the victim of a "fraudulent attack" on her character.

Late last week, Jenna revealed on Instagram she is taking legal action to bring the "terrible individuals" with "hateful efforts" to ruin her relationship with Jordan to justice.

Jordan, however, previously admitted to People that he knows Jenna very well, and after reading the text messages, "in my heart, I know it's her." The screenshots, in fact, made him feel sick to his stomach.

"This happening obviously hurts and crushes him, and I think it's something where it takes time to heal," Chris reiterated to Extra. "And we're all here for him, and he knows the love and support that we have for him. Like I said, no matter what, we're behind him every step of the way."

Although Jenna and Jordan didn't work out, Chris and Krystal's relationship is progressing beautifully. The couple plan to move in together in California soon and have no doubt they will get married when the timing is right.

Prior to appearing on Bachelor in Paradise 5, Jordan and Chris both competed for Becca Kufrin's heart on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season earlier this year. As for Krystal and Jenna, they both competed on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s The Bachelor edition.
