The couple exchanged vows in a romantic wedding ceremony at John Brown University's Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, AR, on Saturday in front of approximately 1,000 family and friends, People reported.

Jinger's sister Jessa Duggar reportedly served as the matron of honor while Jeremy's brother, Charles Vuolo, was the best man in the wedding. Jeremy's father, Chuck Vuolo, officiated.

"This was one of the most touching parts of the wedding is for Jeremy's father to be able to officiate our wedding, standing with us and praying for us on this special day," Jinger and Jeremy told the magazine in a statement.

Jinger and her new husband gushed about tying the knot in a Saturday video message via TLC.

"We are overjoyed to announce that we are now husband and wife," Vuolo, 29, said in the video clip as he turned to Jinger, 22. "It was surreal when you said 'I do.'"

"It's incredible to see us at this place when we've prayed about this for so long and we just longed for the day where we were married," Jinger added. "And now God's given us our heart's desire and our prayer... he's just so graciously given [this] to us."

The guests included Jinger's older brother Josh Duggar and his wife Anna Duggar, who have avoided the spotlight since his Summer 2015 scandal in which he had cheated on her and developed an addiction to pornography. News also surfaced around that time Josh had molesting a handful of girls, including his own sisters Jessa and Jill Duggar, over a decade ago.

Jinger's father Jim Bob Duggar said the wedding was the "most beautiful" he's ever seen, according to Us Weekly.

"They had around 2,000 handpicked flowers for the wedding -- they spelled out the letter V," said the source.

Guests reportedly enjoyed meatballs, cheese, crackers and vegetables at the reception, along with three flavors of cupcakes for dessert: chocolate, cranberry and pumpkin. There was no first dance at the reception or dancing at all for that matter due to the family's religious background.

Jinger and Jeremy met in May 2015 through his friend and now brother-in-law Ben Seewald. The pair got engaged in July 2016, just one month after announcing their courtship.

As for their honeymoon, the newlyweds told People, "We plan to get away for a couple of days alone together and then will be leaving the country for an amazing trip to New Zealand and Australia. We are so excited and so thankful for this amazing trip to start our marriage together. Most of all, we are just excited that we will be together -- married!"
