Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard have welcomed their first child.

Duggar gave birth to a baby boy who weighed nine pounds and 10 ounces at 11:49PM on Monday, April 6, People reported.

The 19 Kids and Counting star and Dillard decided to name their son Israel Davis, and both mom and baby are doing well.

Israel reportedly arrived two weeks past his due date, but Duggar said it was "no big deal" because she previously told People she had been "planning on [him] coming late."

Duggar had convinced herself not to get discouraged because first-time moms typically deliver at least a week after their given due date.

"When everyone else is asking you, 'When are you going to have that baby?' The baby will come when the baby comes," the new mother had said.

The couple was actively documenting Duggar's pregnancy on social media, posting pictures of her baby bump and messages about how excited they were for the baby to come.

"Out to lunch...maybe this spicy Mexican food will make the baby come! Only Braxton Hicks contractions," Dillard tweeted April 3.

Duggar and Dillard began dating in November 2013 and got engaged in April 2014. They tied the knot in June of last year.

The reality series 19 Kids and Counting currently airs Tuesday nights at 9PM ET/PT on TLC. The arrival of Israel will air on the May 5 episode in advance of Mother's Day.
