Jennifer Lopez said it was "so surreal" to receive the 2,500th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"It is so overwhelming. It's so surreal," Lopez told Joan Rivers during an interview on E!
"For a romantic like me, who believes in forever, it's a big day."
Actor Keenan Ivory Wayans, who was responsible for giving Lopez her first break as a Fly Girl on "In Living Color," spoke on her behalf at the ceremony, the Times reported.
Also speaking for Lopez was her "Monster-in-Law" co-star Jane Fonda, hip-hop protege Pitbull, and longtime manager Benny Medina.
