Kaitlyn, who starred on The Bachelorette's eleventh season, wrapped her Spring Break tour in Denver, CO, on Monday, and Jason took to Instagram Stories to congratulate his girlfriend and defend her amid backlash.
Jason, 30, began his sweet and supportive video by saying he was "so bummed" to have missed the final stop of Kaitlyn's tour.
"I just want to congratulate her on an unbelievable tour. She is a leader amongst her peers. While facing adversity and having support, but facing haters, she stays true to herself," Jason said in a series of videos messages.
"And let me tell you, she empowers women all over the world. I have seen girls come up to her -- crying, grabbing and holding onto her -- saying, 'You literally saved my life,' and that's because she creates a safe zone, a safe zone of unorthodox behavior."
The Buffalo native and banker, who competed on Becca Kufrin's edition of The Bachelorette last year, is well aware, however, Kaitlyn's carefree personality and outspoken nature can get her into trouble sometimes.
"We all experience embarrassing moments every day and because of societal pressures and bullies... we hide from them. We run from them. Kaitlyn empowers people to own it, be true to it, and be true to yourself," Jason continued.
"And while you create a polarizing opinion, you also are going to create people who dislike you or hate you for it. And I give her all the credit for pushing through [and] empowering all the people she does."
Jason concluded his post by saying, "Congratulations, Kaitlyn, I am so proud of you."
"In five minutes, he picked my nose and gave me an orgasm," Kaitlyn said during an episode of her "Off the Vine" podcast last week, according toPeople.
"So yeah, it was good. I mean, dry humping will get you if it's been a while."
Kaitlyn revealed she and Jason "dry humped" fully clothed because she had her period at the time.
The couple initially laughed off their overshare but later confessed in Friday's episode the details were "inappropriate," with Jason pointing out Kaitlyn should probably "reel it in" next time she discusses something so personal.
