Iggy Azalea faces a lawsuit for failing to pay nearly $300,000 worth of credit card debt.
Credit card company American Express sued the Australia-born rapper, whose real name is Amethyst Kelly, in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, alleging she owes $299,147.81 for goods and services.
Court documents state that Azalea's debts exceeded the limit on the card that was issued to her 2 years ago by more than $250,000.
American Express is seeking the full amount owed as well as legal fees in the lawsuit against Azalea.
Azaelea has not publicly commented on the lawsuit.
The 27-year-old was issued a $400,000 tax lien by the IRS in 2016, saying she chose to pay the IRS monthly instead of in a single payment.
"The IRS gave the option to pay them monthly or lump sum," she said. "I picked monthly, who wouldn't?"
