Hugh Hefner's relationships with girlfriends and The Girls Next Door co-stars Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquard are "in transition," according to the Playboy magazine founder.

"Are there going to be changes in the relationships? I'm sure there are going to be," Hefner told E! News in response to rumors about the future of the relationships.

"I think that in the future, the girls are going to, in time, be dating others and moving out of the mansion, and when that happens we will not be keeping it a secret."

However, Hefner also denied reports of a breakup with the girls.

"The reality is the girls and I are all together," Hefner told E!.

Hefner also denied reports that Holly Madison has been dating Mindfreak star Criss Angel.

"Holly shares my bed on a nightly basis," he added.

Last week, Hefner had also told E! that there have been discussions to expand each girl's role, including plans for three individual spinoffs that would be interconnected with The Girls Next Door.

However despite the spinoffs talk, Hefner said that he and the girls are still committed to doing a sixth season of The Girls Next Door should E! renew the series.

The Girls Next Door's fifth season premieres on E! on October 5.
