"I appreciate you opening up... I do feel something is there, and once we can get past those nerves, I feel like a great guy is under there!" Katie explained when offering the special rose, hoping to give Greg some validation and confidence.

Greg kissed Katie after he received the rose, and he said he couldn't wait to spend more time with her.

"I can't believe I got this! I can't believe I just got this!... I am so in it," Greg exclaimed while blushing. "Let's do it!"

Katie also told Us Weekly that Greg was "true to himself" on Night 1 and she appreciated how he "didn't try and act cool" or be someone he's not. She also found the fact he was so scared very "endearing."

According to ABC, Greg is "the full package" in that he's "handsome, kind, vulnerable and serious about wanting to settle down."

But will Katie, a 30-year-old bank marketing manager from Lynnwood, WA, fall for this shy and nervous bachelor, or will she direct her attention for towards the more outgoing, loud guys in the room?

By the end of Katie's first night as the Bachelorette, she narrowed down her pool of 30 bachelors to only 23 guys, Greg included.

So does Greg have what it takes to stick around longer, and did he and Katie make a lasting impression?

Until viewers can find out what happens next between Katie and Greg on The Bachelorette, let's learn some things about this suitor right now.
