Gabby Pascuzzi was eliminated from Survivor: David vs. Goliath after she attempted to betray her closest ally, Christian Hubicki, during the latest Season 37 episode of Survivor on CBS.

Gabby, a 25-year-old technical writer from St. Augustine, FL, who currently resides in Denver, CO, was voted out on Night 32 through a 5-2-1 vote at Tribal Council. She became the thirteenth castaway to leave the game and Survivor: David vs. Goliath's sixth jury member.

Christian, a 32-year-old robotics scientist from Baltimore, MD, who currently resides in Tallahassee, FL, actually received five of those votes, but he decided to play a hidden Immunity Idol for himself.

Gabby therefore left the game with two votes, compared to the one vote that went to Alison Raybould, a 28-year-old physician from Leawood, KS, who currently resides in Chapel Hill, NC.

"I started this game as an underdog. I still kind of feel like I was an underdog," Gabby said in her final words. "But for me, it was a personal triumph to do something with confidence and not seek reassurance from all over. But if people saw something in me that they wanted to take out, then maybe I'm more of a Goliath than I thought."

During a recent exclusive interview with Reality TV World, Gabby talked about her Survivor experience. Below is a portion of what she had to say.

Reality TV World: The game turned upside down and lines were blurred once Christian and yourself voted out Carl Boudreaux. Although Carl kept the plan to vote out Alison from you, you weren't the target. So looking back, do you think it would've been better to just stick with the Davids at that point?

Gabby Pascuzzi: No, I don't. I think it was absolutely the right move, and I think [Nick Wilson] not understanding why Christian and I made the move told me that Christian and I made the right move, because Christian and I were at the bottom of the Davids.

I was mostly at the bottom of the Davids, and they just thought Christian would go along with it and not tell me the plan. So, I think if we would have stuck with the Davids, what would that have done for us?

To me, it didn't make sense to just go forward with the numbers just because they're the numbers if there's going to be five Davids and I'm going to come in fifth place. That's not winning either.

Reality TV World: I was wondering though if anything would've changed had Carl actually included you in the plans to take out Alison. I asked Carl about this last week and he thought you would've said "no" because you were really tight with Alison by this point. Was he correct in assuming that?

Gabby Pascuzzi: I don't think he was correct. It's hard to say now, but I had been working with the Davids! I think that it was a little bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy because them leaving me out made me realize that I couldn't work with them and that I had to save Alison in that vote.

So yeah, I wanted the same thing as you. If they would have included me in that vote, I may have stayed with them for one more vote and Carl may not have gone home. So, I think it was a little bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Reality TV World: Could you sum up what you thought your relationships with Nick and Davie Rickenbacker were like out there? It seemed like you felt like an outsider out there, but at the same time, you had been working with the Davids for so long.

Gabby Pascuzzi: Yeah, I love Nick and Davie! I wish our relationships were shown more. There was a reason that I trusted them for this vote, because we did have a good relationship.

So, I felt such a close kinship with the Davids, even when Carl was voted out. Carl really was the problem one. But the others, I was okay with, so it was a little frustrating to see Davie go against my plan and tip off Christian, because I thought he and I had a really good relationship.

But I guess I didn't realize how badly they wanted to protect Christian, even if -- in my opinion -- I don't know if it was in their best interest to protect Christian at that point.

Reality TV World: What was your reaction when you heard about Christian and Nick's secret "Mason Dixon" alliance? Were you aware of that since you were so close to Christian?

Gabby Pascuzzi: No! No, not at all. And the funny thing is, I thought I was really close with Nick, and now I'm like, "Oh my gosh, I didn't have an alliance name with Nick." No wonder, I guess we weren't as close as I thought we were!

But I still believe I was Christian's No. 1, and I think Nick was his No. 2. I think "Mason Dixon" was second to my relationship with him. And with Nick, I just thought I was closer with Nick than I was. I wonder what our alliance name would have been! I should ask him.

Reality TV World: Were you surprised then Nick was so angry and scorned about the Carl vote? It seems like most of the players this season don't take things too personally, but Nick did. Nick was really mad. (Laughs)

Gabby Pascuzzi: Yeah! To me, him taking it so personally was a little bit of a ding on, like, I try to be a really empathetic person. For me, if you can't put yourself in someone else's shoes and understand why they would do a move, then that's not great. You know? (Laughs) That's not great.

So I wish he had been a little more understanding. But at the same time, it was kind of good he was mad at Christian because I knew that when I was pitching to him that we've got to get rid of Christian -- because I thought he was mad at Christian.

So, I mean, it was all kinds of confusing. And yeah, I wish he didn't take it so personally. I understand it, so I think he should empathize -- I empathize as well. They used a lot of advantages to keep Christian in the game and I think they felt we gave up the numbers from that [move].

However, what I think they failed to see was that the numbers were good for them. The numbers were good for Carl, Davie and Nick. The David numbers were not necessarily as helpful to me or even to Christian.

Reality TV World: Carl told me that he thought Christian lost focus in the game and betrayed his David allies -- who had stuck their necks out for him multiple times -- because he was so focused on protecting you. Do you think Christian let his game slip a little bit for you?

Gabby Pascuzzi: I don't think that's true. I think Christian had his own reasons for voting out Carl, and something Christian and I had talked about was that we didn't believe the Davids wanted to go all the way with us.

And they showed that a couple of episodes ago when I said, "Do you think the five is real? Do you think they are really going to take us to five?"

So, I don't think Christian threw anything away for me, just the same as I would not throw anything away for him. We were in an alliance, but we were both extremely cognizant of the fact this is an individual game and the both of us cannot win.

So, just in the same way I would be insulted if somebody said, "Did [you] do anything in the game because of Christian?" nor do I think Christian did anything because of me.

Reality TV World: When Angelina Keeley flipped on the Goliaths, you were worried she had replaced you. Looking back, were you just being paranoid or do you think Angelina really replaced you in the Davids' pecking order?

Gabby Pascuzzi: She 100 percent replaced me. I think them pulling her in to vote out Alison and not telling me was the most clear evidence of that, as well as her stepping out for not only the rice [at an Immunity Challenge] but for the nachos [at a Reward].

I'm like, "Okay, obviously you feel safe." And I would just see it at camp. I would see her and Carl laughing together and talking together, and I'm like, "When did they get so close?! Why are they so comfortable?" It was just very transparent to me.
