E! Entertainment Television announced Monday it has picked up the fourth season of Fox TV's canceled reality show, "The Simple Life."

The fourth season of the show chronicling the exploits of former best friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie will be subtitled "Till Death Do Us Part" and bow in spring 2006, E! Online reported.

The 10-part series will "put the girls to the matrimonial test" by having them assume the head of household role ala "Trading Spouses," E! said.

Hilton and Richie were bosom buddies when they started filming "The Simple Life" in 2003 but Hilton last April announced to the world they were "no longer friends."

Exactly what torpedoed the friendship has never been revealed by either Hilton or Richie, but both have been firm in saying it was not something easily reconciled.

E! also acquired the rerun rights to the first three seasons -- 36 episodes -- of "The Simple Life."
