A pair of llamas stirred up some drama in Las Vegas when they escaped from their home Tuesday morning and went for a walk unaccompanied.

The city of Las Vegas said the llamas, dubbed Hersey and Kisses, were seen wandering loose in the northwest part of town.

A witness said the animals were observed in the Elkhorn Road and Jones Boulevard area about 6:45 a.m.

At least one witness captured video of the llamas during their walkabout.

Animal Control captured the llamas and returned them to their owner, who was cited for animals interfering with pedestrians.
