Starz has announced the casting of two key roles for its time-travel romance, "Outlander."

"Clan, we have our Jocasta and Stephen Bonnet! Please welcome @mariadkennedy and @RealEdSpeleers as Season 4 of #Outlander begins filming!" the cable network tweeted Wednesday, along with photos of new cast members Ed Speleers and Maria Doyle Kennedy.

Speleers' credits include "Eragon" and "Downton Abbey."

Kennedy has also appeared in "Downton Abbey," as well as in the series "The Tudors" and the films "The Commitments," "The General," "The Matchmaker," "Sing Street" and "The Conjuring 2."

Based on Diana Gabaldon's popular novels, the small-screen drama "Outlander" follows British Claire [played by Caitriona Balfe,] a married, former World War II military nurse who magically travels back in time where she meets and falls in love with Scottish warrior Jamie [played by Sam Heughan.]

Season 3 is airing now.
