The annual White House Correspondents' Dinner Saturday will be preceded by E! Entertainment's live coverage of red carpet arrivals for the first time.

The so-called nerd prom is hosted by the White House Correspondents' Association and traditionally attended by the president and a slew of celebrities. The event to raise scholarship funds for journalism students is held at the Washington Hilton Hotel.

Comedian Conan O'Brien is hosting the event, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

Actors, filmmakers and musicians attend the event each year as guests of media outlets. Among those expected to attend Saturday night are South Korean pop star Psy, who will be sitting at the CBS table alongside actress Claire Danes, her actor husband, Hugh Dancy, and "Hawaii Five-O's" Daniel Dae Kim.

At the Time Inc. table will be DreamWorks' Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Stacey Sneider and Skip Sullivan, as well as political adviser Andy Spahn, Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Julia Louis-Dreyfus with her husband, Brad Hall, THR said.

Also on hand will be Kevin Spacey, Barbara Streisand, Robin Wright, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks and Louisville guard Kevin Ware, who made news in March when he shattered his leg during the NCAA basketball tournament.
