The preview sees Spencer Strasmore (Johnson), a retired NFL player turned financial manager, diss Vin Diesel and go up against Andre (Andy Garcia), a top financial manager.
Rob Corddry also returns as Spencer's business partner, Joe Krutel, with John David Washington as his unpredictable client, Ricky Jerret. Omar Miller, Jazmyn Simon and Taylor Cole co-star.
"Ballers" premiered in June and will return for a second season this summer.
The comedy, which some have called an NFL version of 'Entourage,' follows Spencer as he balances his clients' needs with his own personal life.
"One of the biggest reasons why I feel such a personal connection to the show, is because the life that Spencer Strasmore has was a life I wanted," Johnson told MSN in 2015. "I had no money, and we struggled for a long time, but my No. 1 goal was to make it to the NFL."
"I failed at that ... [but] I think I'm finding peace with it on the show," he shared. "So the experience has been tremendous, and I am fortunate to be playing a guy whose life I wanted."
