The revelation came as a reply to a fan's tweet asking what the novelist's plans are for the series.

"Yes! Book 9 (GO TELL THE BEES THAT I AM GONE) will be out in 2019, God willing and the Creek don't rise... Book 10 will be along summat later...." she posted Saturday.

The books are the basis for Starz's romantic drama "Outlander," starring Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan.

It is now in its fourth season.
