Britney Spears' new video premiered on YouTube with a five-second trailer on Friday, with daily snippets to be released over the next two weeks.

The brief clip from "Hold It Against Me" shows the singer in a ball gown before a wall of TV monitors, People magazine reports. A message at the end reads, "13 Days to Go." The full video will be released Feb. 17.

"Hold It Against Me," Spears' first single since 2009, plays hard-driving verses off an airy chorus to recount a romantic encounter she can't resist, regardless of the consequences.

The lyrics include: "If I feel my heart was beating loud/If we could escape the crowd some how/If I said I want your body now/Would you hold it against me."

It is the official lead single from her seventh studio album, "Femme Fatale," due in March from Jive Records.

"It's way more edgy than the last album," songwriter Claude Kelly told People.
