CBS has announced the sixteenth season of Big Brother will premiere with a one-hour episode on Wednesday, June 25 at 8PM ET/PT.

Big Brother will then air a one-hour show on Thursday night, June 26 at 9PM ET/PT followed by a Sunday night broadcast on June 29 from 8-9PM ET/PT.

The show will continue to air three times a week with the live eviction shows being featured on Thursday nights. The first actual live eviction will take place on the night of July 3.

The show's new schedule is a departure from last season, which featured a new episode every Tuesday night instead of Wednesdays.

The network announced it had renewed Big Brother for a sixteenth edition back in September. Except for last season, which debuted on June 26, Big Brother seasons usually premiere in early July.
