Big Brother evicted Winston Hines from the house instead of Brett Robinson during Thursday night's live Season 20 broadcast on CBS.

Winston, a 28-year-old medical sales representative from Somerset, KY, who currently resides in Bowling Green, KY, was evicted from the Big Brother house through a vote of 6-5.

"I'm speechless right now. At one point, I was told to relax, that it was going to be a unanimous vote. Brett had kind of upset the house," Winston told Big Brother host Julie Chen in his post-eviction interview.

"It was hard to understand what was going on in the last 48 hours. Multiple people [told me]. That's what's so shocking, and then I know they voted 6-5, so the shocking part is my alliance voted against me and there's no other explanation... [Angela Rummans], [Rachel Swindler], everyone I'm close to -- that's wrong... I wish Brett the best and that everyone else crashes and burns."

Brett received votes from Kaitlyn Herman, Angie "Rockstar" Lantry, Faysal Shafaat, Bayleigh Dayton, and Haleigh Broucher.

Winston earned votes from Rachel, Angela, Kaycee Clark, JC Mounduix, Tyler Crispen, and Sam Bledsoe.

Big Brother's broadcast began on Day 27, with Winston and Brett complaining about their placement on the block.

"The Bros" acknowledged when one of them gets evicted, it will be "detrimental" to their Level 6 alliance. Meanwhile, Brett had drawn a line in the sand between himself and Kaitlyn after making fun of her alleged clairvoyant capabilities in his Power of Veto speech.

Brett figured he would stay but Kaitlyn's group would throw votes his way.

Tyler, Rachel and Kaycee then discussed whether they should target Winston or Brett. The group needed to determine which player would be better for their alliance going forward, and Tyler suggested getting rid of Winston because he can't win competitions. The girls were therefore onboard with Brett staying.

"We're going to be Level 5 now," Tyler admitted.

Meanwhile, Haleigh, Rockstar, and Bayleigh Dayton talked about which guy should go. Rockstar said Winston had no charm or charisma so Brett was a bigger, more intimidating threat in this game.

"Brett could sell me a car with no engine," Haleigh confessed, adding that he's a solid competitor and she didn't want to go up against him in the future.

Rachel noted she needed six votes for Brett to stay, and she thought Kaycee, Angela and Sam were on the same page.

Afterward, Kaitlyn and Tyler were cuddling outside, and she asked him to evict Brett, which he obliged to.

"Literally obsessed with Tyler. He's proving himself in more ways than one to me, and the fact he's just like, 'I'll do what you want to do,' like, no man has ever said that to me ever -- not even my boyfriend," Kaitlyn gushed to the cameras.

Tyler was confused about what to do because he was loyal to Level 6 but had been working with Kaitlyn, who would blow up at him if he ever betrayed or lied to her. He confessed to the cameras Kaitlyn was "so bad" for his game.

Rockstar, Kaitlyn, Haleigh and Bayleigh then talked about how they were voting out Brett with Faysal Shafaat and Tyler.

Haleigh found it hard to trust Kaitlyn after orchestrating Chris "Swaggy C" Williams' exit, but she had no choice this week since FOUTTE needed her vote.

Tyler knew the decision he was going to make this week would show his cards and people might be mad at him.

Meanwhile, Sam had to decide whether to use her "Bonus Life" power app on one of them. If she used it, she would gain a powerful ally, but if she opted out of using the advantage, the next person evicted from the game would automatically re-enter the house and resume competing for the $500,000 grand prize.

At the live eviction, Brett apologized to Kaitlyn for making fun of her and then announced Rockstar had said she was going to flip the vote on her alliance. Rockstar had an angry and confused look on her face, as Brett asked for Kaitlyn's trust.

After Winston left the house, Rockstar called Brett out for being "disgusting." She couldn't believe he would drag her name into the mud on her daughter's birthday. Brett, however, stuck to her story and just questioned why Rockstar wasn't owning her betrayal.

Winston also revealed to Julie Chen after his eviction that he had thrown Sam's friendship bracelet to the ground when he got eliminated from the game.

The live-eviction episode concluded with the remaining houseguests -- minus Scottie, who as the outgoing HoH was deemed ineligible to compete -- participating in the next Head of Household competition.

The competition, dubbed "Out On A Limb," required each player to stand on a tree for as long as possible as they were sprayed and tilted.
