Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, DJ Khaled and New Edition have joined the lineup of performers for this month's BET Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Bruno Mars, Future, Migos, Trey Songz and Tamar Braxton were previously announced as performers for the June 25 event at the Microsoft Theater.

"Saturday Night Live" standout Leslie Jones is to host the gala where presenters will include Yara Shahidi, Cardi B, Issa Rae, Jamie Foxx, La La Anthony, Regina Hall, Tiffany Haddish, Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Trevor Noah, Robin Thede, Cari Champion and Demetrius Shipp Jr.

Beyonce goes into the competition with a leading seven nominations.

New Edition will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Chance the Rapper will receive the Humanitarian Award presented by Walmart.
