Adam Lambert is apparently eager to appease ongoing media speculation about his sexuality by publicly announcing he's gay on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine's next issue.

"All your questions will be answered.  Finally.  Once and for all," the American Idol eighth-season runner-up told People at the 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards on Sunday.

Word that Lambert was finally planning to publicly confirm his widely-assumed sexuality after spending the last few months repeatedly playing coy about it first surfaced after he lost Idol's eighth-season crown to Kris Allen.

"I think he's happier that he can be himself and it's nice," Allen told People about Lambert. "Adam is who he is and he's not afraid. I support him in whatever he does."

Lambert has recently been photographed around Los Angeles with rumored boyfriend Drake LaBry, who Allen described as "a really nice guy."

"[They're a] cool combination," Allen told People about Lambert and LaBry.  "Drake's from Louisiana and Adam is from L.A.  But they click well and they're really nice together."
