90 Day Fiance star Nicole Nafziger apparently called off her wedding to Azan Tefou in Morocco and has since returned home to the United States.

But according to Nicole's stepfather, Joe Fouraker, Nicole called off the wedding and is currently back in Florida, RadarOnline reported.

"They called it off," Joe told RadarOnline. "They said the timing wasn't right."
The news comes after audio recordings and text messages surfaced online of Azan allegedly flirting with another woman.
In the audio recording, Azan could be heard saying, "I want a kiss right now. The kiss was good," as well as, "What did you dream about last night? I think you want it."
Joe revealed, however, Nicole returned home on May 21 simply because her visa ran out -- not because she dumped Azan over the alleged cheating scandal.
"She had to come back here," Joe explained. "She was there for almost six months. She is now living with her sister in a mobile home. Her daughter May is with her."
After all, Azan denied being unfaithful to Nicole, blaming his behavior on alcohol and peer-pressure from his friends during an innocent night out. And according to her stepdad, Nicole believed Azan.

"He had an explanation and said, 'That was before I met you,'" Joe told RadarOnline. "She believed him. She wants to believe the best in people. She isn't mature enough to understand people will take advantage of her. She's a foolish young lady."
Joe and his wife -- Nicole's mother, Robbalee -- admitted their "prayers were answered" when Nicole called off her wedding, but she is apparently still together with Azan.

On Sunday's episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, Nicole was devastated to discover the audio of Azan allegedly hitting on a mystery woman. Nicole locked herself in a bathroom, called Azan yelling on the phone and then broke down crying.
Nicole and Azan first appeared on Season 4 of the original 90 Day Fiance franchise together.

The pair's relationship has been plagued with issues on the show. In addition to cheating accusations from both individuals, they also have differing views on religion, displays of affection, and health and nutrition.
