According to Larissa's Homeland Security documents, the Brazilian reality TV star has been "placed in removal proceedings" in accordance with the Immigration and Nationality Act, TMZ reported.

Larissa, who has been shown trying to obtain a green card on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s fifth season after her divorce from Las Vegas resident Colt Johnson, is scheduled to attend a hearing soon to determine whether she'll have to surrender for removal from the United States.

Larissa was arrested on Saturday and released on her own recognizance, according to TMZ, which means the 90 Day Fiance star did not have to post bail as long as she agreed to sign a document stating she will appear at all upcoming court proceedings.

Larissa's representative told Entertainment Tonight that Larissa was arrested at her boyfriend Eric Nichols' home in Las Vegas on Saturday when the couple was just about to take off to move to Colorado in a U-Haul truck.

"Hi everyone, I am here with Eric Nichols [right now], @LarissaLimaReal just got arrested buy ICE when she was about to leave their house and move to Colorado," Larissa's friend and former roommate Carmen Nys wrote in an Instagram Story on Saturday, according to Us Weekly.

"We have no clue why. I want to let her family, fans and friends know that we are going there right now and as soon, as I have more info I will keep you guys posted. Send prayers."

On Sunday, Larissa's representative said Larissa had been released from ICE custody after her legal team worked "meticulously" to clear up the "misunderstanding."

Eric posted a video of Larissa on Instagram following her release and she shared with his followers, "Hi everyone, I'm out," adding that the ICE agents were "very nice" and she was "good to go."

Larissa's representative originally suggested Larissa was in the clear by saying the ICE agents had just been checking on Larissa's immigration status.

Just hours before her arrest, Larissa teased her upcoming YouTube channel.

"Hey guys! September 30th you will be able to see everything about my life on my YouTube channel. I will be talking about my children in Brazil, as well as my arrests," Larissa captioned a selfie.

"I want to apologize to all of you for the delay in my answering questions. These are personal and delicate topics which I have to be sure I share with necessary sensibility. The link is in my highlights 'YouTube'."

She added, "What questions do you have for me about my life in Brazil? What would you like to know about my family? Would you like to know about the K1 process I did? Anything you have always been curious about, let me know. I am excited for you all to get to know me better."

Larissa was arrested just one day after she and Eric revealed on Instagram they are moving to Colorado after Eric sold his home in Las Vegas.

Despite being arrested three times for domestic violence, Larissa has been working to become a U.S. citizen after Colt canceled the Brazil native's affidavit of support.

Larissa told ET in June that she got approved to legally work in the United States.

"America is the land of opportunity... I want to do is a normal job, like work at the Macy's at the mall, work the Sephora, something simple but something that I do with love," Larissa said at the time.

Larissa, however, noted her big dream is to work in immigration so she can help others going through similar situations.

"I wish I could, in any way, give back to the immigration society here because I am an immigrant, right?" Larissa shared.

"I got arrested, things happened to me that are unbelievable, that could happen to an immigrant. So, I wish I could give back to them... But I don't know yet, what I can do."

Following two arrests in 2018, Larissa was taken into custody a third time in January 2019 following an explosive argument with Colt in their former home.

According to Larissa, the fight sparked when she allegedly found email receipts for pornographic videos Colt had allegedly purchased.

Larissa was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery at the time, according to a criminal complaint obtained by TMZ.

Hours after the incident, Colt filed for divorce from Larissa on January 11 to end their seven-month relationship.

Colt and Larissa's divorce was finalized in April 2019, and then one month later, Larissa accepted a deal to reduce her misdemeanor domestic violence charge down to a disorderly conduct charge in exchange for community service and a fine, E! News reported at the time.

Larissa debuted her relationship with Eric in February 2019. The pair split in September 2019 but later reconciled and got back together, as shown on the currently-airing fifth season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.

Larissa, who also previously starred on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance and Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, just debuted her dramatic and drastic physical transformation after reportedly spending over $70,000 on plastic surgery.
