Rob Cantrell is an American comedian based in Brooklyn, New York.

Comedian Rob Cantrell first gained national attention as a Top 10 Finalist on the very first season of NBC's Last Comic Standing.

Born in Washington, DC, Rob received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. After college, Rob began performing stand-up comedy in San Francisco coffee shops. Following Last Comic Standing, Rob has appeared on several major networks, including CBS, NBC, and Comedy Central.

Rob has performed for several years in clubs and theaters nationwide, and has appeared on CBS's Late Late Show and Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. He emceed a NORML fundraiser in Hollywood, CA and produced a documentary comedy film Metaphysical Graffiti that showed at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005.

Rob performed most recently as a celebrity judge at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. Rob is also a contributing writer for High Times Magazine and various television shows. In 2009, Rob was signed to Stellah Records and released his debut comedy/music album, Keep On The Grass.

Rob and Rondell Hartley have an internet radio show on brooklynradio.net.
