Below is a list of cast members from the MTV reality series, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.

Season 1

Lauren Conrad	1 +	Season Narrator. "L.C." was shown having romantic involvement with childhood friend, Stephen. Much to her dismay, Stephen went on to date her rival, Kristin, and LC spent senior year partying with all of her close friends.
Kristin Cavallari	1 +	Before and during filming, she and then-boyfriend, Stephen, had a romantic relationship, despite his being close to childhood friend, LC, and her hooking up with other boys.
Stephen Colletti	1 +	Before and during filming, he and then-girlfriend, Kristin, had a romantic relationship, despite his being close to childhood friend, LC, and her hooking up with other boys
Talan Torriero	1 +	Surfer who was friends with all of the girls on the show and supposedly hooked up with most of them before filming.
Christina Schuller	1	During filming, Christina was shown promoting herself as a well-trained singer (although this was shown to not be the case) and pursuing music as her career, as shown in the Spring Break episode in which she attended a Broadway audition while she and best friend Morgan traveled to New York City. After filming, Christina went on to study at the University of Southern California.
Morgan Olsen	1	Morgan shared much of her camera time with best friend Christina, and production imaged her as the "good/innocent" girl. Morgan often stood out from the rest of the cast because of her decision to abstain from pre-marital sex. After filming, Morgan went on to study at Brigham Young University despite being rejected by the school, as shown on camera.
Trey Phillips	1	Much of his air time was spent promoting his non-profit organization Active Young America and hosting several charity events. After filming, Trey went on to study at Bard College in New York and eventually transferred to Parsons The New School for Design.
Lo Bosworth	1 +	The other Lauren, known as "Lo," was close friends with much of the cast. She shared much of her camera time as a mini-fashionista with best friend Lauren Conrad. After filming, Lo went on to study at the University of California, Santa Barbara, later transferred to UCLA. Bosworth later made appearances on The Hills, eventually becoming roommates with Conrad. In the final season of The Hills, she was elevated to lead role.

Kristin Cavallari	1-2	Season Narrator. Stephen continued to woo Kristin back into his life but all she wanted to do her senior year was to have fun, and production depicted Kristin as the leader of a "power clique" that rivaled fellow cast members Alex M and Taylor. As of September 2009 she is now on The Hills.
Jessica Smith	1 +	Jessica was a part of Kristin's "power clique" and played girlfriend to resident bad boy, Jason. Recurring in Season 1.
Jason Wahler	2	Jason has a love affair, ruining his romantic involvement with the ladies of Laguna, especially those with Jessica, Alex M, and LC as seen on camera.
Talan Torriero	1-2	Talan was seen pursuing a romantic affair with fellow castmate, Taylor, but later moved on to Kristin after being rejected by Taylor.
Alex Murrel	2	Alex M was the leader of a "power clique" that rivaled fellow cast members Kristin, Jessica, and Alex H. Alex M was also a love interest for resident bad boy, Jason.
Taylor Cole	2	Taylor was the sweet and quiet best friend of Alex M. Taylor was also shown dating fellow cast member and charming heartthrob, Talan, but later rejected him.
Lauren Conrad	1-2	LC came home to Laguna after a tough semester, taking up classes at a local college in Orange County, and working with various fashion companies. After filming, she moved to Los Angeles with close friend, Heidi Montag, and produced a spin-off entitled The Hills.
Stephen Colletti	1-2	Stephen comes back to Laguna several times in an attempt to woo back ex-girlfriend, Kristin, who takes in his romantic vibes but continuously says no.
Alex Hooser	1 +	Kristin's best friend who clocked up more camera time than LC, Taylor and Stephen.
Cedric Channels	2	One of Jason's best friends who used much of his camera time playing sports.
Casey Reinhardt	2	Former beauty queen and newest resident of the Laguna Beach community.
Morgan Souders	2	One of the many friends in Alex M. and Taylor's "power clique".
Jeff Boyle	2	Jessica's crush, who hooks up with Kristin.
Heidi Montag	2	Lauren's friend from the FIDM; She later went on to star in Laguna Beach's spin-off series, The Hills.
