  1. Some Hearts has spent thirty out of ninety weeks in the top ten of the U.S. Billboard 200. The album was inside the top ten in week eighty, at number eight. Some Hearts has spent all ninety weeks in the top six of Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, and twenty-eight of those weeks at number one.
  2. Some Hearts was the most sold album of the 2006 Billboard chart year (which ran from the issues dated December 3, 2005 through November 25, 2006), placing it on top of the year-end Billboard 200 chart, which is a first for any American Idol winner.
  3. With over 5.8 million sales, Some Hearts has become the best-selling debut album in the U.S. since Evanescence's 2003 debut Fallen, which was also certified six times platinum by the RIAA. The album has been named the fastest selling debut country album in U.S. Nielsen SoundScan history.
  4. With about 5.9 million albums sold "Some Hearts" has become the top selling single album of any American Idol contestant. It is the second best selling American Idol worldwide behind Kelly Clarkson second album Breakaway
