  Billboard reports that Tamyra Gray, the fourth-place finisher in American Idol 1, will appear as a "special guest" on most dates of the American Idol 3 national tour, which starts in mid-July and ends in September.

  The American Idol finals hit a high note on Tuesday night, as the Top 12 finalists performed soul classics for America, delivering FOX's highest-rated Tuesday night EVER. During last night's live results show, it was announced that Leah LaBelle has been eliminated from the American Idol competition after receiving the fewest number of votes.
