Dustin Konzelman News
After visiting three continents and traveling more than 40,00 miles around the world, The Amazing Race's fourteenth edition came down to a fateful taxi-ride race and a memory recall task in Maui, Hawaii.
Unable to reach the The Amazing Race 10's penultimate Pit Stop before any of the competition's three other remaining teams (never mind fast enough to overcome the thirty minute "marked for elimination" penalty that their last place finish in the Race's previous non-elimination leg had burdened them with), beauty queens Dustin Konzelman and Kandice Pelletier became the eighth team to be eliminated from the latest edition of the CBS reality show.
After weeks of strong performances, beauty queens Dustin Konzelman and Kandice Pelletier hit a rough patch and finished last in The Amazing Race 10's tenth leg. However luckily for Dustin and Kandice, they were fortunate enough to finish last during one of the Race's pre-determined non-elimination legs, resulting in the beauty queens becoming "marked for elimination" but still surviving to compete in the competition's next leg.
Done in by an apparent inability to recognize that while being friendly and helpful were admirable qualities, they were also in a competitive race in which each leg required them to finish ahead of at least one of their competitors, Erwin and Godwin Cho were the last team to reach The Amazing Race 10's ninth Pit Stop, resulting in the brothers becoming the seventh team to be eliminated from the latest edition of the CBS reality show
And the latest team to be eliminated from The Amazing Race 10 is... to be continued. Last night's The Amazing Race 10 broadcast saw none of the remaining teams go home. Instead, the first place team of former drug addicts and models Tyler Denk and James Branaman arrived at what they thought was going to be a Pit Stop and discovered that they had merely reached the midway point of a superleg.
Unable to reach the leg's Pit Stop fast enough to overcome the thirty minute "marked for elimination" penalty that their last place finish in The Amazing Race 10's previous non-elimination leg had burdened them with, David and Mary Conley became the sixth team to be eliminated from the latest edition of the CBS reality show.
For the second time in the Race's last three legs, The Amazing Race 10 racers David and Mary Conley finished last during a The Amazing Race leg. However, thanks to the fact the leg was another of the Race's predetermined non-elimination legs, the couple -- now once again "marked for elimination" and facing a 30 minute time penalty if they don't finish the next leg in first place -- will once survive to race another day.
Done in by their inability to find the location of either of the Kuwaiti leg's Detour options, Sarah Reinertsen and Peter Harsch were the last team to reach The Amazing Race 10's sixth Pit Stop, causing the "dating friends" to become the fifth team to be eliminated from the latest edition of the CBS reality show.
Last night's broadcast of The Amazing Race 10's first non-elimination leg introduced a new twist to the long-running CBS reality show -- being "marked for elimination."
Done in by a woeful inability to row a boat and complete a Detour task that required them to harvest sunken oyster baskets, Tom Rock and Terry Cosentino were the last team to reach The Amazing Race 10's fourth Pit Stop, causing the gay partners to become the fifth team to be eliminated from the latest edition of the CBS reality show.
