Dani Evans (also known as Danielle Evans to people who knew her before ANTM) is an American fashion model and television personality. Evans was the winner of Cycle 6 of America's Next Top Model (ANTM). Her reign lasted from May 17, 2006, to December 6, 2006. Evans, who worked as a babysitter and an Abercrombie & Fitch Brand Rep before appearing on ANTM, is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas.
On America's Next Top Model
While participating in America's Next Top Model she was in the bottom two twice but managed to stay in the competition because of her potential. She made it to the final up against Joanie Dodds. The judges chose Dani because she seemed to have more drive than Joanie; she also had more confidence, stronger presence, more personality and a more fierce runway walk than Joanie. When her name was called out she screamed with joy shouting "I'm a CoverGirl mommy!"
Modeling Career
Since winning America's Next Top Model, Evans has appeared on the cover of PowerPlay Magazine, an Arkansas-based publication,.
As part of her prize, she was signed to Ford Models. and was given a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics.
She has starred in the continuing CoverGirl commercial campaign on The CW entitled "My Life as a Cover Girl" during Fall 2006 as well as starring in a CoverGirl commercial with fellow CoverGirls Queen Latifah and Tiiu Kuik.
Her other modeling credits include Elle (as part of her prize), ElleGirl, Jewel Magazine, In Touch Weekly, Essence Magazine, Seventeen, The New York Post, and Ashro catalog.
Evans has walked the runway for Baby Phat and Zang Toi, during Fall 07 New York Fashion Week. She has also walked on the '07 Ripped the Runway, with many other ANTM contestants, although she was the only winner of ANTM that walked this season, she is the second winner to ever have walked on Rip the Runway and Style Salon.
