Carly Waddell and Evan Bass fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise's third season in 2016, and Evan proposed marriage during the finale.

The Nashville, TN, residents got married in Mexico, where they met, during a June 2017 ceremony officiated by Bachelor in Paradise host Chris Harrison.

Carly and Evan -- who has three boys with his ex-wife -- announced they were expecting their first child together in August 2017, and then their daughter Isabella Evelyn was born in February 2018.

The couple welcomed their second child together, a son Charles Wolfe, on November 12, 2019.

However, in December 2020 Carly and Evan announced they were separating after three years of marriage.

"We will always cherish our time together and continue to have the utmost respect for one another as we focus on what's best for the future of our family," the former couple shared.

"We greatly appreciate everyone's love and support and kindly ask that you please respect our family's privacy as we navigate through this."

Carly's appearance on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise was her second, as she dated Kirk DeWindt on Season 2. (He broke her heart and she left the show devastated).

Carly initially found fame on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor, while Evan failed to win the heart of JoJo Fletcher on The Bachelorette.
