Sasha Antonova (born February 5), known by her stage name Sasha Gradiva, is a Russian-born American singer, songwriter, producer and performing artist. Her music is a blend of pop dance with infusions of electronica. She began her professional career at the age of 16, and has gained recognition within the European music scene, on MTV and in the Russian music industry.

She met American producer Tricky Stewart and soon after released her first US single Wanted. Wanted was co-written with Justin Tranter of Semi Precious Weapons and produced by Tricky Stewart and Norwegian producer Axident. Sasha has gained recognition within the club dance scene and has been referred to by Hot Spot Magazine and Gay Pride as "one of the most promising artists in the mainstream US music scene" .

Professional career

Since the fall of 2009, Sasha Gradiva has emerged on the U.S dance-pop scene with her fusion of pop and electronica. A Russian-born American singer and songwriter, Sasha is a performing artist who has received music awards and nominations.

Sasha has appeared in the pages of the Russian publications of Cosmopolitan, Maxim and Vogue.

Sasha was the first Russian artist to be invited to the Grammy Awards in 2012, where she wore a pink gown with a gun sleeve, causing a media frenzy. Media outlets all over the nation dubbed her the "Gun Girl," by publications including Rolling Stone Magazine , The Huffington Post, The New York Times, Yahoo! News, US Weekly, Entertainment Weekly, Hollywood Reporter, The Insider, The Today Show, The Toronto Sun, Celebuzz.com, Miami.com, among others.

American artists have nothing but praise for Gradiva, like Skum's lead guitarist John Eaton, who is impressed with Sasha's commitment to not lip sync saying, "Sasha doesn't go that route and makes it live, the way it should be. I like her style and she is going to be a huge star." Her U.S. fame and success is eminent according to several American publications like Zimbio.com, who praised the Russian pop start when they said, "Move over Britney - Russian pop singer Sasha is in town," back in May, 2010.

Sasha has collaborated with Semi Precious Weapons' lead singer Justin Tranter, as well as platinum hit maker Tricky Stewart, who produced Rihanna's "Umbrella" and Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", to release her debut U.S single, Wanted. Adam Lambert is among some of the other artists Sasha has collaborated with, as well as headlined with artists like Nadezhda Babkina, Valeria, A-Studio, LIMA, Maksim, Reflex, Anastasiya Stockaya, Anastasia Podolskaya, DJ Drew G and DJ PORNSTAR . Many of Sasha's hit singles have been remixed by artists including No Big Deal, DJVU, Accidental Airplay and Proshy Prosti.

Wanted was released on February 25, 2012. The debut single reached #3 on Billboard's Hot Dance Single Sales chart and #5 on their overall Hot Single Sales chart in 2012, which further proves she is well on her way to matching her European success in the U.S.

Sasha, Gradiva's self-titled debut solo album, was released by ARS Records, produced six hit singles that propelled her to stardom. Sasha followed up the impressive success of her debut solo album with yet another hit record- Say My Name with Love.

Sasha lives in Los Angeles, California, but is currently traveling the U.S. for her 2013 LOVERS WANTED TOUR, while working on her third U.S. single and her debut U.S. album.
