Sami Falioui ( February 11th, 1992) is an artist based in Berlin, Germany most notable for his work as an actor and musician. Among other things, Falioui gained a wide public exposure appearing in the music video for "Bilder Im Kopf", 2012 single by established German Hip Hop artist Sido and the German TV Show "Bash! Die Party deines Lebens" published in 2013 on RTL2.

Early Life

Born in Benghazi, Libya, Falioui was raised in Casablanca, Morocco, where he spent most of his childhood before eventually relocating to Germany during his early teens. By the time he was only 12 years old, Falioui had already experienced an international lifestyle and culture, not only in Africa and Europe, but also over the pond, where he spent nearly every summer vacation visiting relatives in Malden, Massachusetts (USA).

Falioui has been a well-rounded athlete, noted on academic level, especially within the discipline of basketball, which he was extensively working on, hoping to further pursue this sport at a professional level. Unfortunately, Falioui fell victim of several injuries that eventually forced him permanently off the playing field.

Acting Career

Not long after sustaining his sport injuries, Falioui, who was 19 years old, started to pursue an acting career which eventually led to several commercial placements including appearing in ads for major brands the likes of Converse,Samsung,Coca Cola and Sparkasse Boyalarm, as well as appearances in TV shows such as "Berlin Tag und Nacht" (2012) and "Bash, die Party deines Lebens" (2013)

Sami received a significant degree of public exposure, particularly within the national music scene, , appearing in a video for acclaimed 2012 single "Bilder Im Kopf", by Sido, one of the best known rappers within the entire German Hip-Hop scene.

Music Career

Sami Falioui became heavily involved with the music scene, particularly within the local Hip-Hop world. As an artist, he considers his music first and foremost as an outlet of self-expression, creating songs with a deeply personal lyrical content and forward-thinking production values, sparking positive reaction from fellow rappers and local media.

He released his debut mixtape "Shattered Dimensions: The Mirror" in 2013 to critical acclaim and great audience responses, becoming one of the most downloaded released on popular Hip-Hop music portal "Datpiff.com". Faliouiís artistic approach expands over the recording studio to focus on complementary visual work, where the tracks are accompanied by unconventional music videos with a strong artistic and visual impact, such as done with 2013 single Phantom (What If), appearing on the Shattered Dimensions" EP. The clip featured the visual work of film-maker Steve McGehee and his crew, while the song has been produced in by with Kennstro and Erick Arc Elliott.
