María Gabriela Isler (born April 21, 1988 in Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan fashion model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Venezuela 2012. Isler was crowned Miss Universe 2013 on 9 November and she is the third Miss Universe from Venezuela in 6 years.

Personal life

María Gabriela Isler was born in the city of Valencia, but since she was a little girl she studied and lived in Maracay. She holds a BA in Management and Marketing.

Miss Venezuela 2012

Isler, who stands , competed as Miss Guárico, one of 24 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant Miss Venezuela 2012, held on August 30, 2012 in Caracas, where she obtained the Miss Elegance award and became the ninth Miss Venezuela winner from Guárico, gaining the right to represent her country in Miss Universe 2013.

Miss Universe 2013

Isler represented Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant that was held on November 9 in Moscow, Russia. She won the competition and was crowned Miss Universe 2013. With Isler's win, Venezuela has produced seven victories in the history of the pageant, maintaining its status as the second most successful entity at Miss Universe. Isler's win also meant that Venezuela has won three crowns in their last six attempts since 2008.
