Marguerite Jones Harbert (born 1924) is an American from the U.S. state of Birmingham, Alabama, with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion as of 2007. She inherited her wealth from her husband, the construction magnate and founder of Harbert Corporation John M. Harbert, who died in 1995.

Harbert Corporation was one of the largest construction companies in the world with offices worldwide. The company's domestic construction arm was sold in the early 1990s to a division of Birmingham-based Raytheon Engineers & Constructors. This was followed by the company selling its largest and most prominent division, its international construction arm Harbert International, to John's brother Bill L. Harbert. The international construction division is now known as B.L. Harbert International and is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.

Their son Raymond J. Harbert manages the family's money. He started Harbert Management Corporation, an investment management firm, in 1993. The company has grown into a highly successful firm with over $20.3 billion under management with its headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. The company also has offices in Richmond VA, New York City, Nashville TN, London, Warsaw, San Francisco, Melbourne, Paris, and Madrid.

The Marguerite Jones Harbert Building at Birmingham-Southern College is named after her.

As of 2013, she is the wealthiest person in Alabama.
