Leva Bates Biography

Leva Bates (born May 21, 1983) is a professional wrestler, best known for her time in Shimmer Women Athletes. She works on the independent circuit in the United States.

Career

Bates was trained by the Team 3D Academy and made her professional wrestling debut in 2006. She has wrestled for numerous promotions in the United States, most notably Coastal Championship Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Fusion, National Wrestling Alliance Midwest, World Xtreme Wrestling, SHIMMER, Team 3D Academy, Southern Championship Wrestling Florida, Full Impact Pro, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Division One Pro Wrestling, and USA Xtreme Wrestling.

Though she was never on the TNA roster, she did work an Impact taping and accepted Awesome Kong's $25,000 Challenge.

The popular wrestling website Diva Dirt chose her as one of their "Five To Watch In 2010" and pegged her as a breakout star.

She has also worked as a stuntwoman at Universal Studios.

Bates had a try-out match for TNA Wrestling going against Isis the Amazon, Bates lost the match from a chokeslam by Isis.

Personal life

Bates attended High School in Madisonville and graduated in 1998. Directly afterwards, Leva attended Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky and got a Bachelor's Degree, majored in Theatre and Radio TV.
