Lee Hyeri Biography

Lee Hyeri (born June 9, 1994; Hangul: ???), better known by her stage name Hyeri (Hangul: ??), is a South Korean idol singer. She is best known as a sub-vocalist of the girl group, Girl's Day under Dream Tea Entertainment.

Biography

Lee Hyeri was born on June 9, 1994, in Seoul, South Korea. She attended GongYeon Girls High School and Seoul Arts High School. She is currently majoring in the filming department at Konkuk University with good friend Dal Shabet's Subin.

Career

Girl's Day

In September 2010, joined as an official member of Girl's Day alongside Yura when Jiin and Jisun left the group in September 2010 just two months after the group debuted. Girl's Day has released 1 full album and 3 EPs in total.

Solo career

In 2012, Hyeri was in the cast for an upcoming SBS weekend drama "Father and Daughter."? In the show, Hyeri played "Jang Mi Hyun,"? a high school student and the youngest daughter in the family. Although Jang Mi Hyun is the youngest of the four daughters, she is mature and most understanding towards her father.

Health

On January 16th, 2014, Hyeri fainted during her stage on M! Countdown for Something promotions. After she lost consciousness, she was immediately taken to the hospital. Dream Tea stated "Hyeri had been suffering from the flu. She still wanted to perform, but when she went on stage, she must've been tired as she fainted. We're planning a break for her after she receives an IV drip at the hospital. She's been quickly taken to the hospital." After she was taken to the hospital, a M! Countdown rep said "I heard she is recuperating. She had finished recording the rehearsal without any problems."

Personal life

It was announced in April 2013 that Hyeri was in a relationship with H.O.T's Tony An. The couple had a sixteen year age gap. Both agencies have confirmed the dating of the two idols. The agencies of both are aware of the two"?s meetings, according to Sports Seoul, who says that the agencies have said, "It"?s true that they"?re meeting with fond feelings"? They"?re still at a stage where they"?re getting to know each other. Please look over them fondly."? Tony"?s agency, TN Entertainment, confirmed over the phone, Tony and Hyeri were in a relationship. After dating for 8 months it was announced in November 2013 that the couple broke up due to busy schedules.
