Laura Carmine Biography

Laura Carmine (born April 2, 1983) is a Puerto rican actress. Currently resides in Mexico. She began her acting career in 2008. She played in several soap operas Un gancho al corazon, Corazn Salvaje (2009 TV series), Camaleones, Ni contigo ni sin ti, Amor Bravo, Quien eres t and La tempestad.

Early life

Carmine is of Mexican ancestry. She was born in san Juan, Puerto Rico but when very little left to live in Mexico. She obtained two degrees, one in advertising and marketing. In 2003, she began a master's degree in international marketing, but interrupted her studies when she went for her casting at the Center for Artistic Education at Televisa. Although, it was not until 2006 that she became a student.

Career

She began her television career in 2008. She had leading segments in exclusive programs at SKY Mexico. In 2008, she made a Televisa soap opera debut and make her first supporting role as Julia in Un gancho al corazon with Sebastian Rulli and Danna Garcia. Then in 2009, she played the supporting role as Perla in Corazn salvaje (2009 TV series) with Eduardo Yanez, Aracely Armbula and Cristian de la Fuente. Then in 2010, she played the supporting role as Maria Jose in Camaleones with Belinda and Alfonso Herrera.

In 2011, she made her first starring role debut as Nicole Lorenti Tinoco in Ni contigo ni sin ti with Eduardo Santamarina, Alessandra Rosaldo and Erick Elias. In 2012, she made her second starring role and first villain role debut as Ximena Monterde in Amor Bravo with Silvia Navarro and reunited co-star Cristian de la Fuente.

In 2013 participates in the soap opera La tempestad production of Salvador Meja Alejandre starring opposite William Levy, Ximena Navarrete Daniela Romo, Ivn Snchez, Mariana Seoane, reunited co-star Csar vora and among others.

Also in 2013 she participated in the soap opera Quien eres tu, with Julian Gil. During this film she also played the leading role of two twin sisters. One being an evil role Veronica Garrido and then the other one of course was the nice one Natalia Garrido.

In 2015 participates in the soap opera A que no me dejas, which plays the role of antagonist, Carlos Moreno Laguillo production.
