Kim Jae-kyung Biography

Kim Jae-kyung (born December 24, 1988) is a South Korea singer, TV presenter, dancer, actress and promotional model. She is a member and leader of the South Korean girl group Rainbow. Her color is Red in Rainbow.

Biography

Jae-kyung was born in Seodaemun-gu, South Korea on December 24, 1988. She is trained in singing and dancing. In 2008, she appeared in SS501's song "A Song Calling For You" music video before debuting as a Rainbow member. She studied at Deungchon High School and Dongduk Women's University, where she majored in Fashion Design. She is formerly a trainee at JYP Entertainment before switching to DSP Media.

Jae-kyung debut as member of 7-member girl group on November 14, 2009.

Acting career

On March 31, 2012, Jae-kyung made her debut as an actress in jTBC's drama Monster. On August 13, 2012, she acted in KBS2's drama Family.

TV shows

Jae-kyung was a MC on MBC's tv series New Game which ended on November 25, 2012. On February 21, 2013, Jae-kyung along with Go Woo-ri and Kim Ji-sook become the special MC on M! Countdown. On March 9, 2013, she along with Jo Kwon, Jinwoon become the special MC on Show! Music Core.

On January 12, 2014, Jae-kyung was a guest on Running Man.
