Plot

A woman (Natalie Portman) asks her ex-lover (Joel Edgerton) for his help to kill the outlaw (Bradley Cooper) who shot her husband and is still out to finish the job.

Filming

Film started shooting in early 2013 in the New Mexico and was first to be directed by Lynne Ramsay but she didn't show up on the set on first day so the film is now directing by Gavin O'Connor. Jude Law was also signed to star in the film as a villain but he left and Bradley Cooper replaced him. Michael Fassbender was also the star of the film but withdrawn. It is produced by the Handsomecharlie Films and 1821 Pictures.
