Intelligence is an upcoming American cyber-themed action/adventure television series that is expected to air on CBS as part of the 2013"14 American television season as a mid-season entry. The series, which is based on the unpublished novel Dissident by John Dixon, was adapted to television by Michael Seitzman, who will serve as an executive producer along with David Semel, René Echevarria, and Tripp Vinson, for ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios. The series is expected to premiere on February 24, 2014.

Plot

The series follows a high-tech intelligence operative who is the first of his kind to have a microchip implanted in his brain. Endowed with this technology and ability, he is able to access and detect anything and anyone, but at the expense of taking risks or breaking protocol in order to protect national security, prompting his superior to assign him a Secret Service agent to make sure he doesn't get out of line, or, for that matter, into enemy hands.
