India Summer Biography

India Summer (born April 26, 1975) is the stage name of an American pornographic actress and nude model. Her stage name is based on the song Indian Summer by The Doors. She also has mainstream acting credits making her part of a small group that have "crossed over".

Life and career

Summer was born in Des Moines, Iowa. She entered the adult film industry in 2006 at around the age of 31, and she has appeared in over 350 movies. In July 2009, she signed an exclusive girl/girl contract with the studio Girlfriends Films. India Summer has also appeared in small roles in TV series Sons of Anarchy and Dexter.

In November 2011, her debut was was announced as a director with the movie Perfect Fit.

In January 2012, the Internet Adult Film Database (IAFD) announced, in its annual release of compiled data, that Summer "was the busiest female performer in the industry" with 78 new titles released in 2011.

She describes herself as a "swinger" and "very bi-sexual".
