Hermione Corfield Biography

Hermione Isla Corfield (born December 19, 1993) is an English actress and model. She began her modeling career at the age of 15, and has starred in such movies as Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015), Mr. Holmes (2015), Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016), and the upcoming xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017).

Early life

Corfield was born in London, United Kingdom, the daughter of Richard Corfield and Emma Willis. She has two siblings: Isadora and Kai Corfield. Hermione attended Downe House School in Cold Ash, a village near Newbury, Berkshire. She studied English literature at University College London before taking a method acting course at Lee Strasberg in New York.

Career

In 2009, Corfield was scouted as a model, and signed with First Model Management. Her love for fashion began through her mother's shop. She says that she is still forming her own style, and has not changed her look much over the years. She has modeled for well-known British brands including Pocket London, William Morris, and Penelope Chilvers. Corfield was also a cover girl for Tatler UK in 2013.

She made her film debut in 2014 with Colton's Big Night, a segment in the movie 50 Kisses, directed by Sebastian Solberg, where she plays a character named Anna. She appeared at the beginning of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation opposite Tom Cruise, and starred in Mr. Holmes alongside Ian McKellen and Laura Linney. She also worked with Penlope Cruz in an advertisement campaign for Schweppes. Corfield's got her first leading role in Fallen as the character named Gabrielle "Gabbe" Givens, which she had been cast in 2014. She also stars in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as Cassandra.

Hermione's upcoming project is Vin Diesel's highly anticipated film XXX: Return of Xander Cage and also the Guy Ritchie directed King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017). She also appeared in Bees Make Honey, where she stars alongside Alice Eve.

Personal life

Hermione has been dating the musician Andres Shaw for many years, with whom she shares a studio apartment in East London.
