Godfrey Gao Biography

Godfrey Gao I-Hsiang (Chinese: ??"?; born September 22, 1984) is a Taiwanese-born Canadian model and actor.

Life and career

Gao was born in Taipei, Taiwan, to a Malaysian mother and a Taiwanese father. He moved to Vancouver, Canada, during his childhood, and later studied at Capilano University in North Vancouver.

Since returning to Taiwan to work as a model in 2004, Gao has appeared in several TV dramas and films. He played Magnus Bane in the film adaption of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013). He is also the first Asian male to model for the fashion brand Louis Vuitton. He is managed by JetStar Entertainment.
