Audrey Marie Biography

Ashley Miller is an American professional wrestler, best known for her work for WWE, in their developmental territory NXT Wrestling under the ring name Audrey Marie. She defeated Aksana to win the FCW Florida Divas Championship but dropped the title to Raquel Diaz.

Developmental territories (2011"2013)

Miller made her debut on June 9 episode of FCW TV in a tag team match with Sonia being defeated by AJ Lee and Aksana. On June 28, she won her first match teaming up with Aksana and Maxine against Leah West, Naomi, and Caylee Turner. On the August 14 episode of FCW TV, Marie competed in a six diva tag team match with Sonia and Raquel Diaz being defeated by Caylee Turner, AJ and Kaitlyn. The next week of FCW TV, Marie and Kaitlyn were defeated in a diva tag team match against Naomi and Caylee Turner. On the September 1 episodeof FCW TV, Marie defeated Aksana in singles competition to win her first FCW Divas Championship, making it her first title in FCW. On the November 3 episode of FCW TV Marie successfully defended her title against Naomi. Over a week later on the November 13 episode of FCW TV, Marie lost a divas tag team match with Cameron Lynn against then Queen of FCW Aksana and Caylee Turner. On the December 11 episode of FCW TV, Marie successfully defended her Divas Championship against Naomi, but lost the title on December 15 episode to Raquel Diaz. On the January 1, 2012 episode of FCW TV, Marie competed in a triple threat match against AJ and Aksana, with AJ getting the pin on Marie. Marie was successful in six diva battle royal match on the January 5 episode of FCW TV. On the January 15 episode of FCW TV, Marie defeated Caylee Turner in singles competition. On the January 18 episode of FCW TV, Audrey and Kaitlyn were successful in a diva tag team match against Raquel Diaz and Sofia Cortez. On the January 22 episode of FCW TV, Marie dropped the Divas Championship to Raquel Diaz after losing to her in a title vs title match. Marie tried to regain the title in a triple threat match on the February 2 episode of FCW TV against Raquel Diaz and Sofia Cortez, but was unsuccessful. Marie then teamed with Kaitlyn on the February 5 episode of FCW TV defeating the team of Raquel Diaz and Sofia Cortez. Over the next couple of months Marie would unsuccessfully challenge Raquel Diaz for the FCW Divas Championship. On June 3 episode of FCW TV, Marie appeared backstage in Summer Rae office with Caylee Turner, when Rae announced she will get shot at Raquel Diaz's FCW Divas Championship, which later was announced she will have to face Paige in a #1 contenders match. Over the next couple of weeks, Marie would face Paige in singles match defeating her on several occasions. On the final episode of FCW TV on 15 July, Paige and Marie ended their feud with Marie victorious in a no disqualification match.

WWE went on to rebrand its developmental territory, FCW, into NXT Wrestling. Marie's NXT television debut took place on the August 1 episode of the sixth season of WWE NXT taped at Full Sail University, where she lost to Raquel Diaz. On the September 20 episode of NXT, Marie teamed up with Paige and defeated Alicia Fox and Kaitlyn. On the October 24 episode of NXT, Marie teamed again with Paige against Fox and Layla, but poor teamwork cost them the match. On the November 28, 2012 episode of NXT, Marie won her first televised match, defeating Emma, while transitioning into a villainous character. In late January 2013, fellow NXT wrestler Sasha Banks began receiving letters from a "secret admirer". On the February 20 episode of NXT, the admirer was revealed to be a scheming Marie, who promptly ambushed Banks; Marie had been jealous of Banks' success in NXT while she herself had been out injured. Marie went on to defeat Banks in her return match later that episode. Marie's feud with Banks ended on the April 3 episode of NXT, when Marie teamed with Summer Rae against Banks and Paige. Marie was pinned after Rae ran away from the match. On May 17, 2013, Marie was released; her last televised match was a loss to Emma on the May 29 episode of NXT which was taped before her release.

On May 18, Miller announced that she would be competing on the independent circuit.

Personal life

Miller has two cousins named Megan and Chloe. Miller has one German Shepherd. Miller is good friends with fellow NXT Divas.
