24: Legacy Brief Information

24: Legacy is an upcoming American television series produced for the Fox network. The series is a spin-off of 24 which was created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran. It is scheduled to premiere on February 5, 2017, serving as the lead-out program for Super Bowl LI, and will later move to its regular time slot of Mondays at 8:00 p.m.

Consisting of 12 episodes, the show follows the life of war hero Eric Carter, played by Corey Hawkins, using real time method of narration. Miranda Otto plays Rebecca Ingram, the former head of the now revived Counter Terrorist Unit in Washington, D.C. It begins with Carter, an ex-Army Ranger who has returned to America, and the trouble that follows him back, compelling him to ask CTU to save his life, and potentially stopping the largest terrorist attacks on American soil.
