Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband says the Hungarian-born actress remains in critical condition after undergoing hip-replacement surgery following a fall.

Fox News Channel said the 93-year-old celebrity has been unable to answer questions and is unaware of visitors since having an operation on her broken hip Monday at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

"I'm at her bedside waiting for her to respond," her husband, Frederic von Anhalt, told Fox.

"She doesn't talk to us, she can't tell us what hurts and what's wrong, so we're just guessing," he said. "We were hoping (her recovery) was just going to be a few days, but it looks worse than that."

Gabor's film credits include "Moulin Rouge," "The Story of Three Loves," "The Girl in the Kremlin" and "Touch of Evil."
